David was a great singer, just as his mother, Miss Martha Bass of The Clara Wards Singers, and also his older sister, "Rescue Me" Fontella Bass. R.I.P. David, and his Mother. Get well soon Fontella.

So sad to hear of his passing today. May his spirit continue on its journey bringing with his soul his gift for music. I know that God and all spirits in God's kingdom will enjoy hearing his vibrations of sound that we humans can only imagine, but we did get a glimpse of his gift, and it will be missed here on earth.
