I can suggest something: Actually dance. I will take alma seriously for once if they can do AT LEAST 2 whole minutes (not pareja either) without a single hat. Wont happen...

Yea but you guys have a responsibility to be the best. You have the excuse already, so idk why you guys arent doing EXACTLY like Sambos Illimani or Sambos De Corazon instead of this old dinosaur bs can u dig?
I have faith in Sambos tho 100% kcuzz I am trying to join one of them for the Tundique de oro :)

it was one of the girl's idea, she kept telling us she wanted it done in the choro, then all the girls always wanted to do something with the guy's chicote and hat since we started spinning the hats. they just want to take the thunder away from us. haha there is only so much we can do within the borders of the dance style.

Love the whole Apocalypto intro, its so cool...I love watching you guys dance,..only thing I wonder is why do you always do the rope thing where the girl takes the chicote from the guy...if that is like one of your trademarks its good, but if its not it would be nice to see something different.

Lol...so true...We Sambos arent alcoholic either...most of our dancers are underage and we try to promote the whole "mente sana en cuerpo sano" idea...

and also very true san simon universitarios expect to win every year in reality theyre not shit ANYMORE!!!
and also true HelmetVanga i dont dance caporales but Santiago de Anzaldo is one if not the best group, they have quality, they actually know how to dance, theyre unique and theyre not an alcoholic group like everyone else.

I do care a lot that Alma came on top because, it is unfair and not realistic that VA Simones expect to win every year. I am not from Alma at all..My fav are Santiagos De Anzaldo.

Saw this over the weekend and it was my favorite act of the night. So athletic - they jump and kick in those heavy costumes, but they look like they are loving every minute. Love the costumes. I teach, and one of my students is from Bolivia. He was so excited to hear I had seen this group perform.
