In Which Maggie applies Sharpie markers to a guitar so that she can give it away to readers in, like, Tyson's Corner. Or Toronto. Or both. I have two. Music is "Summer Girl" by Sulaiman Azimi. Sharpies are mine.

lyrics/ song based on Shiver, by Maggie Stiefvater.

info based on comments: it is just a normal varnished guitar, cleaned very well before I began. Plain old Sharpies. I did not varnish over the art work. I have a guitar that I sharpie'd over two years ago and the art looks identical/ unfaded. I will say, however, that I also have sharpie'd my laptops, and with very frequent handle, the sharpie wears off, although I suspect it is because the metal is a less porous surface than the wood of a guitar. Anyway, your mileage may vary.
