After previous leaning track for the alto part in le cantique de Jean racine (this video is a response to it so you can jump to it if you're interested), I have been asked by afireinsidex337 for the tenor version, so here it is. I don't know why as I thought I used the same encoding parameter but the audio quality of this video is less good than the previous one. Weeeeird.

What you CAN (imho) get from this track :
* the notes. They are all correct (I checked this afternoon with the score), and about in tune (at least enough so there is no doubt about which note I intended to sing)
* the french pronunciation is authentic as I'm French myself. Some of the consonants are a bit muffled but the vowel sound are there..

What you CAN'T (IMHO) find in this track :
* a stunning tenor voice. Not that I can do much better, but this was recorded very quickly at the time, sitting down. Oh well.
* the dynamics of the piece. The spirit is there somehow, but not in terms of sound volume variation, if that makes sense.
* good breathing : It's not my forte, so even if I tried to watch myself, you shouldn't use this track as far as breathing is concerned. Listen to your conductor indications on where to breathe ;)

You can ask questions in the comment section. Please rate (well :D) if you found that useful, and feel free to suscribe, that's always a great source of motivation !

  • @cuicuimusic Hi Thanks so much for your reply. Would be great to get all 3 to be honest but dont want to be pushy! Ours is an all male chorus - thought your full version was ttbb - am I wrong? Great to get a version where the pronunciation is clearly correct! steeng@ntlworld.com
