It's really ironic though, hong kong chinese (cantonese) are not really authentic chinese yet they are most nationalist chinese in some cases. The actual meaning of cantonese mean Yue chinese, which means
viet chinese. Look at the Nanyue kingdom, before han dynasty conquered this area. Cantonese which makes up vast majority of hong kong people, are actually mix of north Han chinese and Nanyue people. In other words hong kong are actually just half chinese, or semi-sinicized.

@abraham71679 bouth being discriminated. i will never be happy if i know chinese being discriminated by indian and i am felling sorry for indians in hk when.i was small chinese will never sit next to me in the bus cover their nose in the lift ect..

The Race Discrimination Ordinance (RDO) is an anti-discrimination law enacted in July 2008 to protect people against discrimination, harassment and vilification on the ground of their race. Under the RDO, it is unlawful to discriminate, harass or vilify a person on the ground of his/her race. The RDO has come into operation since 10 July 2009.
《種族歧視條例》於2008年7月制訂，目的是要保障所有人士不會因為他們的種族而遭受歧視、騷擾和中傷。根據條例規定，基於某人的種族而歧視、騷擾及中傷該人，即屬違法。《種族歧視條例》已於2009年7月10日起全面生效。
