What do you think about Meno's second defintion of virtue where he says that just rule of a city or people is a characterisitc generally applicable to those who are virtuous? He says that virtue is "what ellse but to be able to rule over people".

What do you think about Meno's second defintion of virtue that to be virtuous is "what else but to be able to rule people"?
He mentions justice is virtue, or to be just is to be virtuous. So, he posits that the just rule of a people or city enables someone to be virtuous.
What are your thoughts on this definition, as well as Meno's modification to this defintion.

I'm assuming that you made this for a class. At any rate, I found it very interesting and helpful. I'm currently reading Meno for my "Philosophy of Science" course, and I was looking for another interpretation.
Do you agree with Socrates when he says that knowledge is innate?
