  • Also, a professional model is expensive too.

  • Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't the lighting what makes the picture in the end?

  • my gf got on for free at iphoneforfree . info

  • I think by equipment we meant Lights... not a Camera.

  • @jmzavala1988 The point is that the camera doesn't matter.

  • So this is what Tom Brady does on the side. LOL

  • (Continued..) But anyway, this was a good solid idea you came up with I was just eager to point out some flaws in your experiment that you might want to give a second thought.

  • I understand that your challenge was to shoot with the "crappiest" equipment possible to show that equipment status and quality proves as no aid when it comes to having a photographers eye or whatever, but it is plainly seen in this video that other than the iPhone you are using top notch lighting equipment and professional photo editing. Not to mention your model is all dolled up and gorgeous so that every angle you snap a picture of her from can be altered in photoshop and made perfect.

  • Yup, not about the camera, it's about the expensive everything else, lol. I know what's the point you're trying to make, and I agree with it, equipment isn't everything, but would've been more interesting if you shot with cheap lights and such. As it stands, DigitalRevTV's pro photographer cheap camera series proves this point a whole lot better, sorry.

  • Now use a D3x but without any other equipment, that would actually be more interesting, because lighting is way more important than the camera for studio shoots.
