"No worries, babe. The concert's almost over, " Kevin says to Danielle who was cuddling into her jacket.
Dani had a cold but Kevin decided that bringing her out would make her feel better. I turned my attention forward, where Michael Buble was performing. It was the finale song and Demi was still dancing in her seat. I chuckle as I turn to her movements. She was clapping to music along with everyone else. Her tounge sticks out at me from the corner of her mouth and I smile. She's such a kid. I hear giggling coming from above us and I realize they were fans. Demi and I look up to give them a smile and a slight wave. One of them snaps a shot and I put my finger to my lips, telling them to keep it down. Of course, they giggle even more and eventually calm down. Demi begins leaning into me and I have another fantasy. Crap.
She leans in, whispering, "Maybe we should go now."
I bite down on my bottom lip, feeling her breathe on my neck and I nod like an idiot. I get up with her and Kevin and Dani were already up. We head out trying to be unnoticed.
"Whooo, " Demi bursted as we drove away. The rest of us let out a slight laugh.
"You think you can make it through dinner, " Kevin asks Dani.
Dani smiles up at him, "Sure."
"Awh!" Demi cooes, slapping her hand against my chest. "Aren't they just perfect?"
I cringe at the force and rub my chest. Geez, violent much? "Yeah, lets make them couple of the year, " I say, giving her a playful push.
She smirks at me, "Baby."
"Child abuser!" I argue.
Demi lets out a loud laugh and I smile. What? She's THAT contagious.
"You're twenty, stupid. Might as well call yourself the twenty year old, BABY." She jokes.
"Awh, " Dani says, imitating Demi. She rests her haead on Kevin's shoulder smiling at us.
I feel myself blush and Kevin starts pointing at me.
"What a baby, " he smirks.
Demi puts her hand over her mouth, faking a gasp. "Oh no you didn't, girly! That's my line!" She giggles with Danielle and puts out her hand. "Talk to the hand, line stealer!"
Yes, we're this immature. I love how we're this way when we aren't in front of the cameras. It makes it so interesting when we are.
"I couldn't help it, " Dani giggles. "It was so fetch!" Demi laughs as Dani gives her a high five and Kevin shakes his head smiling.
"What does that even mean?" He looks at me, assuming I knew. "Joe?"
I chuckle putting my hands up in front of me. "Not a clue, dude."
"Inside joke, Kev" Dani says, patting his knee.
My index finger runs across my cup of Sprite. We were waiting for the server and I was bored. I look over and I see Kevin and Danielle being all mushy. I think I just shuddered. They're family but thats what makes it even worse, I guess. I turn and see Demi texting away on her cell. A smile spreads across her face and one just like it spreads on my face too. I always gets so giddy around her. Why? Hmm.. maybe because of the fact that I've been hopelessly inlove with her ever since Camp Rock. Yes, I'm a wuss. A coward. It's kind of weird though. An off and on kinda thing. When we're together, its just plain amazing. But when we're not we drift apart so easily and I end up with someone else. Like a few months ago. I felt like she ditched me for Taylor. But I knew that wasn't true. It's just the way Demi is. She's a friend to everyone and it just so happened I broke Taylor's heart. Well, whatever. I haver her now. She starts to giggle and I have the urge to ask her.
