"I will not be judged by you mortal; not when you have lived the lives you have. Let me tell you of Betrayal: betrayal is cowardice... selling weapons to your adversaries out of fear that they might stop killing each other and turn upon you. Betrayal is refusing to lead by example. Betrayal is letting the Fiends run rampart through the Planes until evil has corrupted all hearts."

This is what I like about Torment's story. The purest of causes clash and bend when confronted by the immovable reality.... and the planes still turn.

Caring only for yourself is pretty much the definiton of evil. In D&D terms that would be Neutral Evil - pragmatic selfish villany. Also he did casually kill people for no good reason, like Pharod's men before the bronze sphere incident, and shows no remorse for "neccessary" deaths he caused. It was like a game with people as pawns and greater good as an excuse, pretty evil to me.

The paranoid one on the other hand was simply batshit insane. And an annoying bugger.

Destructive, yes, but insane. Can't fault him for that. Much.

Personally, I always think of the practical incarnation as the neutral one of the three incarnations, he does not care about good or evil, only about himself. He doesn't do evil if it is not in his interest. The paranoid incarnation however is much more destructive even if he isn't driven by cold logic.

How do you make Fjhull one of the enemies? As far as I remember its an option if you want to fight him ;)

Pharod can't be the one of the enemies three because he isn't born of the Planes. It's Trias (Good twisted to evil), Fjhull (Evil twisted to Good), and Ravel (Neutral twisted to Chaos/Law). Depending on interpretation it could also be the three incarnations of TNO.

The only sad thing about Planescape is the fact that we will never play Planescape 2...

I've played P:T 18 times and I still have what to discover and what to think about.

Iam student of philosophy, but this game gives me ten times more annoying questions about life then Descrates :D

Really masterpiece....I didn't played this game, I've lived it.

(Sorry for my english, I think it's isn't perfect)

Man, Trias was only around for a short time, but he leaves such a powerful impact. Forces you to really question the nature of good. Tearing the city of Curst apart searching for a rogue angel trying to destroy everything... It almost seems like the Planescape version of Heart of Darkness (or Apocalypse Now, if you prefer)

(I know that WoG said that Fjull was the shadow of evil, but I think my theory makes more sense)
