Great speech! I have preached the same message regarding the overload of data and how our limited brains can understand that load of data. For that reason, we STILL need heavy-duty high-level abstract MATHEMATICS and MATHEMATICAL PROOFS, in addition to computer computations. Mathematical theorems "get around" the over-load of computations that computers produce. They get to the point. The problem is: every single biology-related employer is prejudiced against hiring PhD mathematicians.
