Sarah Michelle Gellar talks about the 'Buffy The Vampire Slayer' Reboot

Sarah Michelle Gellar has teamed up with "The Nestlé Share the Joy of Reading Program" to raise awareness about the importance of children's literacy and to encourage continued reading over the summer. She visited the Los Angeles Public Library's historic Central Library to read to children and share her love of reading - May 10, 2011

In this interview with CNN, she talks about the 'Buffy' reboot that supposedly won't have anything to do with the beloved universe set forth by Joss Whedon.

"I think it's a horrible idea. To try to do a 'Buffy' without Joss Whedon, I mean that's, like, honestly, to be incredibly non-eloquent: that's the dumbest idea I've ever heard."

It would be funny when she's reading that story to the children a vampire runs in and she drives a stake through his heart, and then continues reading as if nothing happened.

It's un-likely a hollywood studio would contribute and produce a film to such a small fan base anyway. Like the ratings of Ringer, a Buffy movie would be a costly mistake to any studio at this time.

It's not that Buffy fans don't want a new BTVS movie, it just that we don't want what Hollwood is trying to sell us.

We want the real Buffy back, and it ain't Kristy Swanson!!!

If they make another Buffy feature film, why not just pony up the cash to get Sarah and Joss, and the rest of the cast to come back for the movie?

It would not be the first time this has happened.

X-Files anyone?

And the difference between the X-Files movies and a Whedon written Buffy film, would be the lack of suckage in the Buffy film.

Hollywood could make alot of money on such a project.  ALOT of money....
