  • is there a video on here with the full footage of the entire descent from space to earth wiht window view? i wanna see the entire descent. You never see that on here or at least i haven't found it. does anybody have a link to it.

  • @1982FMJ

sir, i dont think they have this footage. seems if the camera was installed outside maybe it will going to melt down..

i think there should be someone who's going to make a footage from the ground level so that we can also see those things

  • Nice vid...do you know which mission this is from?

  • sorry for not being around in here.. i think this is STS116 or higher..

  • @FASTBOOBS The shuttle isnt burning at all. The compressing of air molecules causes all the fire outside. The heat at some points is up to 3000 F. It last about 8 min for the shuttle.

  • @amgen52 mmmm... strange.,The shuttle is burning outside...For how log will it burn? I noticed 6 minutes.Isn't it?

  • @FASTBOOBS The cabin is kept at about 72 to 74F.

  • cabin crew temperature how much?

  • Well, well. But I would like to watch te vide by Musgrave...

  • @asbjos Sorry, but this is definitely STS 115 because before 2000, they didnt have glass cockpits... and in this video the shuttle does...

  • @asbjos But it doesnt look like hes standing though.

  • @Skydivingkittens I think it may be STS-80. If you read on Wikipedia in English about astronaut Story Musgrave, you can read this: "During deorbit and landing, Musgrave stood in the cockpit and pointed a handheld video camera out the windows. In doing so, he recorded the plasma streams over the orbiter's hull for the first time, and he is still the only astronaut to see them first-hand...", so it possibly be STS-80

  • @mrcisco3111 same here, i just freaked out when i heard "i see the nose coming up, you can start settin' it down"

  • They re enter at 17 thousand mph, this heats the outside to over 3 thousand degrees, that's why the shuttle has a heat shield.
