@RetroToledo The people at Hanna-Barbera Australia did this cartoon and I thought the animation for Pink Panther and Sons was lousy. Thankfully, about 8 years later when they decided to have the staff at MGM animation studios in Culver City, California do that, I felt it looked much like what DePatie and Freleng wanted all that time.

@eszettfromhell they remember the classic hits, then forget shit like this. In fact, when I used to go to the Toonzone forum, I remember someone mentioning one of his friends' dads did the scheduling for the Saturday Morning cartoon blocks in the '70s and '80s; he FUCKING HATED the job. Can you imagine all the schlock the poor guy had to wade thru to get to some classics?

At least they kept a nod to the original by running a new Pink Panther short in between the 2 "...and Sons" cartoons.
