I'm still looking for America, every since Obama :( Where is she going. Sometimes more and more...I don't see her :(:(:(

I was in love with a girl in 1970, we were both 17 and we used to listen to this constantly. Happy days.

@nat00ben06 That's it! I never could put my finger on what garfunkel brought to the songs that made them so memorable! Thanks!

LOVEly...and Beautiful

If you try to find it now, it doesn't look like it did in 1970 - unfortunately.

I really love how Art Garfunkel's high soprano to falsetto harmonies really make so many of Paul Simon's song just pure masterpieces.

It was the summer of 1970. I had just flown from Seattle to Chicago and taken a bus from there up the coast of Western Michigan to work at a resort in South Haven. I was twenty. This song was just popular. We all knew what it meant. Bombs were falling in Vietnam and killing my friends. But we all thought we were indestructible...Paul Simon was looking for America; I too have been looking for America since the summer of 1970.
