Retribution

Retribution: My first composition utilizing Brass, Strings, and Piano. You'll notice this piece is more rigid with time and chord changes than some of my other compositions This is because I was experimenting with basing a song of dynamic building and rather than rhythmic contrast. Still, you'll find some interesting time changes. And the sad thing is, it's still more dynamic than anything you'll find in any syncopated song, which goes to show you how pathetic some genres of music really are. This song is constantly building and falling, until eventually it leads to a final buildup that ends in just about the loudest thing I've ever written. It's essentially taking the concept of a techno song, and making it actually musical and interesting.(Lol)
