The very first time I ever saw Dick "The Bulldog" Brower, he was a face (a good guy). Good to hear the voice of the late Jack Reynolds, too.

Dick Brower was from Newmarket? That's gotta be a first and last for wrestling. No more Bulldog there now, but they have a pretty handy and cheap spay/neuter clinic, so no shortage of crazed animals!

Brower was a badass. Especially earlier in his career, feuding with Pedro Morales and others in the old WWWF. He wouldn't even get a tryout in today's WWE because he was under 6 ft tall, but he'd make a mess out of most of the guys on their roster. Dr. Beach was a career jobber who worked all up and down the eastern seaboard, primarily in WWWF and the old NWF in upstate NY, Ohio and western PA.

This classic wrestling footage is awesome. Thanks for posting. I remember reading a wrestling magazine back in the late 70's. (Read them all the time. No cable.) Brower had invaded the World Wide Wrestling Federation (now WWE) and was going after Backlunds title. They showed gruesome pictures of Brower in previous matches. I was just a young teen then and wasn't smart to the business. I remember being VERY concerned for Backlund because of what a terror Brower was.
