  • Hi,

There's something I don't get : why is the "wiggle cast" considered as a cast rather than as a mend ? As in the "wiggle cast" we reposition the line after the rod stops, shouldn't we call it the "wiggle mend"? (Just like the reach mend instead of the reach cast) Thank you in advance for your explanation !

  • @Bumcast Thanks for the reply :). That's right, I saw you didn't do a clear distinction between the stop and the wiggle in the film. It was kind of smooth. But whatmade me think it is actually a mend, is that on the step by step explanation it says "Stop the rod" and then "Wiggle". However, I feel that the name isn't as important as the fact, that the wiggle is a great presentation cast, and what's more, it is easy to execute, unlike the curves, which I still can't perform!

    Cheers from France!
