V'al Kulam

These words of atonement are sung by the congregation repeatedly during the Al Chet confessional prayer. They mean: "For all these, O Source of Forgiveness, forgive, pardon us, grant us atonement." This will be sung at all services, from Selichot through the end of Yom Kippur.

Dang, you are so right, Sexymonkey! Never really stopped to realize that the vowel is a "patach genuvah" - a cheat vowel like under a final chet. Good eyes and ears. So listeners - if you're learning from this video, ignore "Eloha" and pronounce it "Eloah" - with that final "h" actually sounded!
