  • @tyaebolt I am waiting for my first custom cue ever.. I have to wait until the end of december to get it and start getting familiar with it. I am getting a Keith Josey Sneaky Pete with a kamui S Tip . Can't wait :)

  • @tyaebolt thanks for you words tyaebolt. Having an understanding of this will make for more options on the way I practice (zone positioning & tighter positioning).

  • @Bladerunner55217 9-ball players typically get used to "zone position", 8-ball and straight pool in particular demand tighter positions ("point position", in the case of straight pool) This is why 9-ball players are often seen playing 2 or 3 rail position on balls - a 2 or 3 rail position shot may allow them to get the cue ball into a position zone at an angle that makes it a higher percentage shot. (Less likely to under/overrun the zone)

  • That's why I like 8 ball so much. people that can position the cue ball masterfully still have a hard time getting good position in a game of 8 ball along with not being able to control the break to much. That's why when they had a rare tv show with all the veteran players like efren etc and mike segal commentated and played . They played 8 ball and I was so amazed how efren and others looked like ordinary average players. mike segal also explained that in his commentary.

  • 3:50 the announcer sums crane up quite well. Master at positioning so the hard shots never have to be made.

  • @Carlosgtrsnk well yep he did well to spot that but lets not get carried away by it

  • @Eptapus They are Lithuanian.

  • What is the Balsis' nationality?

  • @Anonomousxxx yes but the hard part is to know for sure that the ball is dead

  • lol combo was set it was easy
