I had a whole set of these come loose all at once on a commercial business once. It was not pretty. Apparently the installing vendor used the wrong means to attach.

Yes, I've seen plenty of them come off when they just "glue" them to the metal roofing. No way they will stay for long. My roof is 3/4" AdvanTech. The Snow Stops are sealed to the metal with silicone and then there are two screws with sealing washers into the AdvanTech.
