I really don't think the celebration is specifically about his death. I can't speak for everyone but I was rejoicing over the fact that we finally had a big win, something that I don't feel we've had in a long time.
I agree and when I saw the people cheering and yelling on the streets it brought back the feeling I had when I saw the people cheering and yelling on the streets when the Twin Towers were struck. Irony much?
Wow. We agree. I think there's a certain amount of justice in his death, but wasting time on it gives too much credence to him, his actions AND his death. it has, generally, disgusted me, seeing those that have advocated bringing the body back and dragging it through the streets of NYC. What a hypocritical notion!
