Studio 7

Studio 7 is an exciting and unpredictable performance series presented by students from Concordia University's Department of Contemporary Dance. Open to all artists in the university community, Studio 7 provides a casual and informal setting in which students can present new works for practice, feedback and discussion. Since works are unedited and often in-progress, expect the unexpected. "We like the fact that things get messy," says dance professor Silvy Panet-Raymond. Studio 7 is run entirely by students and allows those in non-technical programs to take the lead in setting up and staging the show. The monthly Studio 7 performances are live-streamed on the contemporary dance department's website.
