(: i love this place. a new bridge has been built. not sure why, but you can still jump off it. ive been debating it but im not sure if im gonna jump off it. crows nest and sunset are fun though! hope everybody that goes here has an awesome time and stays safe. dont do anything to stupid.
I don't believe anyone has died jumping off the Pulp Mill Road Bridge in Chateaugay, NY. Local Urban legends but no deaths from jumping off the bridge that I am aware of. People have died there from other incidents (falling through ice). However, CAREFUL! is the key word. I have jumped off the top girder and on every occasion have hit bottom (not hard). In the 80s & 90s we jumped left facing the top of falls, in 2010 I jumped off the right side. Go figure.. many myths about the "correct side."
My family has been going there for years. it has been a family tradition to jump off the bridge finally i jumped off two years ago and hit the bottom my tailbone hit a rock and it opened up thank god i wasnt paralyzed i had to rush back into canada LOL, first and last time.
I hope whoever made this video reads this. This information is simply to inform you so that next summer or whenever you might think about it. People have died from jumping off the bridge because there are rocks and even old cars under the water. Next time know that if you hit the wrong spot in the water it might be your last jump.
i did a backflip of the new bridge , a reverse flip
