Oh my gosh, I remember this! It reminds me of being 5 years old at grandma's house and running away and hiding whenever this came on. I couldn't handle the epic theme song, hahah.

One of the best music and voiceover combinations in television history. KXAS' opens from 1992 and 1995 are similarly stunning.

But Paul Anthony's still WOOD's voiceover, and you wouldn't know it comparing now to then. But TV news opens and music cut preferences are worse now than then.

I'm pretty sure the similar logos are coincidence; the stations went to those logos before LIN ownership.
