@sonicmouth oh so u know no seat belt or air bags and basicly nothing from keeping ur head into that streering wheel then the windshield was a good idea. dude cars where in no way safe back then u never heard stories of ppl who got in car crashes back then becuase they were dead

... in a time before plastic "safety" cars and stupid laws..
-
@sonicmouth The plastic and stuff that crumples in new cars is designed for safety, the car absorbs alot of the impact by crumpling. In the old days, sure, the car might still work, but when a person comes to a complete stop like that it really messes up their insides. Those old cars were death traps, lol even if the car was solid steel, you'd splatter all over the dash.

Thats when cars where cars...if you tried that now with one of the plastic piece of garbage cars they build now you would die on impact!

Retro was good XD

For all the safety the new nanny state brings you kids, you will never know the fun that used to be. I saw a thing on TV about Ft. Lauderdale and Spring Break, they showed clips from MTV in '84 and what went on then you don't see anymore. "Safer" is good up till the point when living is without risk.
