Herd of horses frolicking

It's sunrise and time for exercise. The games begin with Chester, a dun paint gelding who is a retired roping horse. Despite his arthritis, he feels pretty energetic. The pale dun mare with the long mane and tail, Alice, is a retired bucking horse who now is being trained to be a riding horse. Honest! The other pale dun, Flaming V's Raven, is a registered Horse of the Americas mare just about to turn four. The dark dun mare, Gracie, used to be a terrible outlaw who would rear and fall over backwards on her rider. Thanks to trainer Dacodah Herkenhoff, now she's my favorite for long trail rides. I don't believe there is any such thing as an incurable outlaw.
