  • @DJINEVIL2323 C6H12O6 + 6O2 + 6H2O → 12H2O + 6 CO2

That's the formula for cell respiration in a cell's mitochondria and yes, oxygen is used in the process of making ATP. In fact, cellular respiration is the process of ~oxidizing~ food molecules, like glucose, to carbon dioxide and water. Just thought I'd prove to you that he was correct. No offense intended btw.

  • @DJINEVIL2323

He looks nervous because he's employing a technique that he uses in *all* of his videos: cherry-picking various reports on PubMed and distorting the actual results. The "nervousness" is him looking off to the side to read a script that he was too rushed to memorize.

The stuff this guy says on autism science is pathetic at best. You'd do better to Google "mark hyman fraud" and "ultrawellness fraud" to see some of the drivel he's spewed on HuffPo, just to sell more more books.

  • Hmm, you look nervous in this vid. And I'm not sure about a couple of your "examples" I am a student of Microbiology, Physiology, Anatomy and Nursing.

I am supportive of 90% of what you say though.

I wish you didnt look nervous in this video. I think people can understand that mitochondria take in glucose and make ATP, energy. They don't burn oxygen. . . .come on. Don't discount your audiences intelligence. What you offer is valuable, but this makes you suspect to detractors.

  • I didn't get it. What do I need to take to make me stay young like those old rats?

  • What dosages of these mitochondrial boosters should be taken?
