My mistake. The rifle is an FN FAL not an SLR. There are three holes on the handguard. The SLR had only two.

Some great footage of the Browning High Power and the British version of the FN FAL - the SLR. Both were great, well engineered weapons...

Yes all the maggots were props made by the BBC. They covered them in condoms to make them shiny, honest! I played the Unit marksman shooting at the maggots.

Yes it was creepy...and I'm reliably informed, that the shiny exterior is the result of using a condom over the hand-puppet!
