This is my attempt to try to control a Korg MS-10 using only a G2X audio output connected to Korg VCO CV In. No gate signal is sent, so I've set the VCA to wide open. In this way, when a key is depressed, the VCO goes to its lowest frequency, faking a gate signal to the listener. A skilled ear can catch it, anyway ;)

  • mind numbing man

  • Well, sorry... but I did that back in 96 with my sampler - where's the point? the trick is so old, you can even use bass or guitar for that with any synth that has got a frequency to voltage converter and and envelope follower/ ext trigger.

Try to loop back into the g2x for example..
