Reminds me of 'the Jungle'

Yeah he's great, but uh where's his personality?

The book is outstanding for the level of detailed research that Eric Schlosser puts into his subject. He provides a very detailed insight into the malpractices of the fast food chains and agribusinesses and US Federal authorities need to wisen up to what is happening in their own backyard. Ultimately, power lies with the consumer. If they choose to reject industrial production food, focusing instead on local produce and 'slow' food, they can instigate a food revolution in the USA.

Look up Zeitgeist Addendum and see how little corporations care about us, they will do anything to make a profit.

I loved reading the book! I got into it because well, it's a long story.. but the only thing that was a huge lesson was about the chained um.. meat? On chapter 8/ The most dangerous job.. Plus the the one that says a bug that kills the children. This book should be read by all parents or young adults! Thank you for this book! It's a awesome book to learn and learn about fast food.
The only thing that sickens me more than fast food is corrupt corporations and their never-ending greed! Seems like every ill in this country goes back to "them." Let's hope more Americans, like myself, get truly fed up w/ it. (2) Fast food is not even that cheap anymore. I can make a meal at home for 2 bucks that's healthy and delicious. Very interesting. Thank you for posting.
