how did you connect the bass guitar to the Monotron?

@afsp2007 With jack/minijack cable into aux of the Monotron. Minijack from the Monotron's headphone out to an amp.

@blueskyzero9 Yes, I'm using the Apogee One, but any USB or FireWire device can be used. The Monotron comes with a mini-jack output only.

It's a bass for sure, but it looks like a Fender Jaguar with a longer neck and heavier strings..
