Every flight needs a flight number. 296 is the flight number of this aircraft. If you look at the Mayday video here, you will find it was the same accident as shown here. The aircraft hit a tree and 3 people on board DIED. Have some respect for the people who died.

Read the other guys post, he clearly states from the Wikipedia article. If you don't believe that's true, go to the Wikipedia article yourself called "Air France 296" or look at the Air Crash Inestigations video about it. Those videos are based on blackbox recordings and eyewitness accounts. Do not count your comments before they have hatched, either.
