4/15/11 - PokerStars, Full Tilt, Absolute Poker Charged By FBI

Executives at PokerStars, Full Tilt Poker, UltimateBet and AbsolutePoker have been charged with several felonies such as illegal gambling, money laundering and fraud. The main internet domains of these poker rooms were seized and now show an FBI notice. The FBI apparently also seized or froze more than 75 bank accounts of poker payment processors located in the US.

The main subjects of the charges are eleven poker executives such as Isai Steinberg of PokerStars and Raymond Bitar of Full Tilt Poker. Thus far there have been two arrests in the US, but neither are thought to be poker executives. The other defendents aren't currently on US soil according to a statement by the US Department of Justice. If arrested and convicted, the defendants could face very significant fines and possibly even jail time.

Full tilt and Stars do suck dick. I suffered the cash out curse at stars and full tilt were scummy right from the start and eventually closed my account, stealing the money that was in it! Then they ignored emails apart from once where they said ask nicely. I did ask nicely and then they ignored the emails again. Total scum and about time they were behind bars. Im so glad I live in Europe that means I actually know what a fair deal looks like lol Hope you yanks enjoyed loseing your full tilt $

I've played for real money on Full Tilt Poker (played on tilt for 4 years now). I have tons of friends there, some that have been screwed over, lied to, and scammed by Tilt itself. They deserve this *****. It was only a matter of time before this scamming ******** came back to bite them in there azz. I can't help but laugh at these frauds. Especially Tilt.
