Sound isolating technology helps audiophiles by reducing the amount of ambient noise coming into the air and allows listeners to reduce the volume. Apple and V-Moda both have sound isolating headphones. Both are very comfortable and deliver quality audio. The Apple ear buds tend to stay in the ear better and are not encumbered by additional weight, but the bass response is not terrific. The V-Moda's are heavy and fall out during active use but the sound is superior to the Apple. Both will help reduce the volume from your audio device and that is probably worth the price alone.

  • Sometimes Costco might have these for alot cheaper cause I got my old vibes there but you'll have to wait a long time cause they might not have them yet but vmodas are worth buying no matter what. Before mine got stolen it was rammed into my pocket hundreds of times and the only thing I saw was the rubber starting to tear but now with the new Kevlar reinforced cables it should not have any issues like that

  • @Nexumbiker110 - Costco had a V-moda earbud that ran $29 but I don't think it had the in-line mic. I'm guessing the sound quality was similar to the Duo 2.

  • I got the apple ones for only 10 and they are not fake. The sound quality is super clear. Not too much bass but very clear mids and highs.

  • @gumdrops27 - At $10, it's a no-brainer!

  • the vmoda vibe duo (they are different than the vmoda vibe 2 in this vid) is the best.

it combines the best of both worlds. It is a little bit heavier than the apple ones but a lot lighter than the vibe 2. The sound on it is also just as good as the vibe 2. And they won't pop out of the ears while jogging or jumping.

no offense, but i am still laughing at the part when he said "woven technology". xD The "woven technology" vmoda uses for cabling is actually kevlar reinforced fabric.

  • @jeffreysyang = Agreed! I went with the Duo 2 at the time because the materials seemed higher quality. But the weight is really a problem. They look very cool in the package but I'd go with the 2s if I had to do it all over again.

  • @mbrenne72 Owning something doesn't make you knowledeable about it.

  • @yamahasca - Funny! I'm pretty certain I have the requisite qualifications to evaluate these headphones...I own them both! But on a serious note, the se215s are nice but lack the in-line mic. At the time I made this video, the Apple store was selling these side-by-side and I think a lot of folks were trying to determine where their $100 was better spent. I, like others, was looking for a quality in-ear headphone where I could also answer a phone call.

  • This guy doesn't know a thing about earbuds, let alone sound in general. Don't listen to this crap. If you want to spend 100 bucks on earbuds go with REAL in-ear buds made for stage performance like the shure se215 single driver buds. They are closer to true isolation than any of these over-marketed and over-priced buds and have a better frequency response.

  • Thx somuch I didn't kno that if u press it once it starts r switches

  • Great job
