"Illogical Conclusions" Art Exhibition by Sudha Achar EHCC/HMOCA August 2009, Hilo, Hawaii

"Illogical Conclusions", an exhibition at the East Hawaii Cultural Center / Hawaii Museum of Contemporary Arts features experimental works by internationally recognized Hilo artist, Sudha Achar.

Through experimentation with sculpture, paint, collage, fabric and print forms, this solo exhibition emphasizes abstract work and explorations of the figure in relief form.

Originally from India, Achar explains: these works are an attempt to understand the historical and cultural lineage of traditional as well as modern art forms reflecting an amalgamation of East and Western influences.

Sudha Achar, former long-term Chair/CEO of EHCC/HMOCA and owner of the well-attended Sudha's Art Gallery & Books business in downtown Hilo, is currently Emeritus Chair of the EHCC/HMOCA non-profit arts/culture organization.

Needless to say, excellent artwork by Dr. Sudha Achar, requires powerful creative imagination for interpretation. Thumbs Up for good Audio / Video. Kudos. Hope to see more and more in future. I liked the one with combination of Aquamarine and Gold (between 1.00 - 1.15 min).
