Doctor Who ~ 4th Season: Midnight - Episode 10
An intense scene finely performed by David Tennant as the 10th Doctor and Lesley Sharp who plays Sky Silvestry.
Brief overview:
A routine flight suddenly becomes mysterious and brings sightseers from all around the universe together into a panic as the craft lies helplessly still on a foreign landscape.
Although we don't see anything throughout the episode, the passengers soon realise they aren't alone.
What started off as noise from outside, something has meticulously made its way inside, and invades in a particular way that the Doctor had not anticipated.
Sky Silvestry, the most introverted passenger onboard, becomes victim, and behaves creature-like. Everyone soon realises that the more they speak, the more frightening she becomes.
So the Doctor tries to help in the best possible way he can; by risking his own life...

This is my ultimate favourite Doctor Who episode.
It was fanstically written by Russell T Davies, and I recommend you watch this episode even if you're not a Who-vian - as it doesn't require much Sci-Fi know-how.
It really just explores human-social-nature versus the things "inhuman", and how "human" we all are in the name of survival.
This is one of my favorite scenes in the season. I think she took his voice because he was the most scared out of all of them. The creature took over Sky because she was the most scared. Then the Doctor was scared most from them.
That's my theory anyway.

@suadela87 - Another theory is that the Doctor is the most 'cleverest person in the room' - any life form would want the best possible chance of survival, and it made its' own judgement in accoradance with instinct.
And in this case, it used language/identity.
Skye was chosen cos she seemed the most perceptive, and probably the easiest target - not neccessarily the weakest.
Anything's possible in that show!
It was done so well :)
