  • Ambrose had a hit in England with this and there are two takes issued with slightly different arrangements. An absolutely fantastic arrangement with Sam Brown on vocal

  • "My Baby Just Cares For Me" was Weems' follow-up to his #1 smash "The Man From the South." Debuting October 4, 1930, it reache3d #4 nationally over a seven-wek run as Victor 22499.

  • Recorded on July 25, 1930, and originally issued in the U.S. on Victor 22499...the song was introduced in the film by Eddie Cantor.

  • My favourite vocalist, Art Jarrett - a wonderful high tenor (perhaps the best) before the style went out of style and we got the baritone crooners like Crosby (blah...)

  • Ted fio rito also did a very nice version of this tune.
