Graham Nown, sadly missed by anyone who ever met the man, was an accomplished British writer and broadcaster. He graciously sent audio segments for Paul Pacult and me to play on our syndicated radio show, The Happy Hour. Here's one instalment for you. This one's about Owney Madden, a Prohibition-era gangster who was born in Northern England, but was known as The Duke of New York.
Graham was a fabulous fascinating man. He could hold forth on myriad subjects, and he was always very compelling.
