Police and passers-by left a gang-raped Indian student lying unclothed and bleeding in the street for almost an hour, a male friend who was attacked with her has said in his first public comments on the case that provoked a global outcry.
"We kept shouting at the police, 'please give us some clothes' but they were busy deciding which police station our case should be registered at," the friend told the Zee News network on Friday.
Charles Stratford has the story.

Satanism, disguised as Marxism, is rampant in the world, both systems one and the same, explained in different terminology value human life as nothing more than atoms to be used however the willful see fit, no concept of evil, and evil all over the world. Be it this or the callous gang rape in Ohio by the football players, neither group valued human life as anything more than a toy to be used.

This is what happens when you mix poverty with extreme conservative ideas. Not just in India but any country!

blackmask699- sorry to say but no country is perfectly good or bad - its the individuals who are good or bad. Whichever country you are in, you'll have good and bad people. Perhaps, you're not a pervert to do such awful things, but it is unfair to blame the whole country for 6 idiots. There are some very good men in the country too - if u have heard of Mahatma Gandhi, he was one of us too, and surely he has done more than enough to ensure that we are not a "disgusting piece of shit of a country"

People like you and me saw them and walked away, so now when people like u and me go for demonstrations and all this, it seems hypocritical for me. We Indians want the work done for us by someone else. Just like we waited for the police to arrive in this case to do anything abt the boy/girl's condition. So here again, we wanted someone else to do the work for us, just as now we're demonstrating and expecting the politicians to do the work for us in terms of the law or anything else. Shame on us!

(cont'd from previous post).. accountability at all levels is very much needed. And that accountability should start from me and you, because me and you are the ones who make up the society along with several others like us. If people like me and you who saw these victims (boy and girl) got ourselves into action and took them to the nearest hospital, we might have saved that girl's life. But what does the common man think? Alas! Kaun is jhanjhat mein padega, and we walk away.

(following on from my previous post)
Yes, change is needed, but change begins from you and me. I believe that I cant force anyone to do or change anything. I can only be responsible for my actions. And if each of us, who make up this society, start taking responsibility for our own actions, then the blame game wont exist - we wont expect politicians or police or anyone else to do the work for us. We will be accountable for ourselves. Laws are plenty in India - no more needed, but accountability

I agree brother, I did not do anything either - for a start, I wasnt there. Even if I was there, I dont know if I would or would not have done something because even I am part of the same society. It is people like me and you who make this society, and the way things unfolded, I dont know if I would have done anything different. I'm not pointing fingers at anyone - just highlighting the state of affairs in society today. Yes, change is very much needed, (cont'd in my next post)
