I love those old signals, I barely see those anymore, most of them been replaced by newer signals.

I been over that crossing a lot! That Crossing is bet up a lot! That is why that train derail! I live right by it!

What train company owns those tracks? I'm from Windsor Ontario and during the summer my family drove by there for a drive on Grosse ill(I forget how to spell it lol)and drove by that crossing and that 4 track mainline

They never take care of the tracks down there, so expect de-railments to happen often there

What was the cause?
Wish you had gotten close.
Don't trespass, but you can get much closer legally staying on the sidewalk.
Interesting to see the STOP ON RED SIGNAL sign.
Did you get video of them rerailing the derailed cars?

The rails have sunk below the cement...and one of the wheels must of gotten caught on it or something. I didn't get too close...because I didn't want to be annoying. There were alot of people out there...including the manager or owner of the paint factory...and I didn't want them to get angry with me for recording... :) I didn't get a video of them putting it back on the tracks either. It was at least 45 mins to an hour before it was fixed.
