This gives you all the tools you need to play this exercises. Write down all the parts and add the hi-hat's on 2 and 4. Practice all the parts seperately at first, then put them together. First in groups of two different parts or more. When you feel confident enough play them in a random order, switching from one rhythm into the next without breaking the flow.
Have fun!
Cheers

  • Good job.

    Very thoughtful demonstration.

    Your English is excellent.

    Well done.

  • Thanks a lot :-) I really appreciate it!

  • so you basically improvised the whole thing but used those different stickings throughout in no particular order?

  • Yes, that's correct. It's all improvised like it's commom in jazz and all the patterns I used are listed in this video.

    Take care
