This is amateur 16mm color silent movie footage of a night-time parade, just before Christmas, in Studio City California. This is a small city adjacent to Hollywood. The film includes many well-known Hollywood actors and actresses.

The film is an interesting combination of various local businesspeople, local celebrities, and local dignitaries, combined with a surprising number of well-known Hollywood stars, including:

This is outstanding footage. Are you sure this is from an amateur? There are two camera angles of several scenes and the lighting and exposure are terrific throughout. This seems to me like it's b-roll from a news organization, which were all still shooting on film in the '60s.

@glennbirk I am 100% certain this is amateur footage. It was taken by the person who owned the camera store, seen in the background of some shots. Obviously there were high-powered lights at the point where the footage were taken, and those may have been placed there by some professional. The footage was clearly taken by two cameras, but being a camera store owner, he had access to many cameras.
