@ImmortalSynn It's not quite that simple. Snarf is inherently good, but the spirits' power is abhorrent and vile beyond belief. It would eventually have turned him evil or destroyed him.

LOL, and even then, THAT's not a fourth of it! The very last episode (as well as the Golden Sphere episode) proves that Mumm-Ra has the ability to deny giving the power *back* to the Spirits, though he eventually has to, in order to fit inside his sarcophagus and thus recharge.
Snarf doesn't have that requirement, so why bother giving the power back, when it was proven that he could use it to take on (and eventually defeat, due to stamina) Mumm-Ra?!
Ugh, that drove me crazy!
