Grob G-103A Twin II Acro G-JAPK of the Cairngorm Gliding Club towed by Robin DR400/180R (Remorqueur) G-BZMM towards the South of Feshiebridge Airstrip (XFES) in Central Scotland, on August 22, 2009. A low-altitude rope break would not leave many other options than to land in the rocky but otherwise beautiful Spey river. The rain showers would kill any thermal, but the tow plane makes a left turn to bring the glider on the upwind slopes of the Cairngorms, and there we go!
