Are you ready for a Nerdy Valentines Day? http://bit.ly/WekHqK
This video contains the word "BADASS."

My poetical waxing is on SciShow here:

I just wanted to add a bit to all of the discussions surrounding Neil Armstrong. We shouldn't forget that he was perfect for this mission not only because he was humble and would make a great symbol for our country and the world, but that he was also an amazing, highly skilled, tried by fire, pilot with NERVES OF FREAKING STEEL!

Neil Armstrong is so badass that perhaps instead of telling Chuck Norris jokes, we should tell Neil Armstrong jokes.

    Super fast reflexes. Check.

    Piloting prodigy. Check.

over riding the computer to make a better decision. Check.

Going to space and walking on a celestial body that wasn't the Earth. Check.

Conclusion, Neil Armstrong was a jedi.

Best thing about Apollo was that it was not the only time man went to the moon but was just the beginning of an epic new adventure. Wernher Von Braun promised us the Jetsons space age and and we got it! We got our moon base and repeated the moon landings many times since.

Hah, stupid hoax believers were wrong about the Van Allen radiation belts stopping manned space flight. Remember when we couldn't just buy a ticket and fly to the moon!? Yeah Armstrong was a real hero.

    Oh wait a minute...

They were thinking about naming a rocket after Neil Armstrong, but no one walks on Neil Armstrong and escapes intact.

and another reason he was picked to be the first on the moon... was that NASA thought he looked like the guy to go down in history as first on the moon. they have this incredibly awesome guy, and they pick him because he's handsome.

    dear hank,

the word "psyche" does not refer to any psychological thing. it is the root word of butter fly in greek.

It would go through some of the stages of rot, but not all, because some require external things ex/ bugs, fungi

I googled it and found this, "A dead body would decay for a while since there are bacteria within the body that already have everything they need to continue living for a while. If the body were left naked on the moon's surface, it would alternately freeze and cook depending on the position of the moon relative to the sun, with temperatures ranging between -184 C and 101C. In the very dry lunar atmosphere, it would soon dry out. Decay would effectively stop once the body was dried."

nearly died a bunch of times, casually returned to work, was cool under pressure, and landed on the moon. Neil Armstrong was living an action movie.
