@carpy1 no i figured beings the bikes are usually pre 1970 or really early 70s their would have mechanical carbs. I couldnt think of the name earlier:D rather than a circlip, the needle in the carbs on my motorcycle have an adjustment tab on the floats. Ill adjust that and tune them, then sync them, and then change out the jets until i get it right. Thanks for the info man. ILL KEEP WATCHING YOUR VIDEOS, THEY ARE AWESOME!!!

@carpy1 by needle clip do you mean like needle and seat? like need for the fuel inlet valve on the carb or are you talking about the adjustment pin on the constant velocity pistons?

the best bike for an excellent video cafe racer

10:06 , that bike is my favorite. Looks very fast.
Yes the needle seat, on a 750 on the rack of four Kehin Carbs the needle will have 5 settings and I always set the circlip in the middle and usually go 2 bigger on the main. The pilot or slow jet remains the same at #40.
I do not use Diaphram carbs at all my friend.

so how do you jet them with the bods and the wide open exhaust like that? Do you go up main sizes or do you change something else? I want to do a similar thing to my KZ1000 and still have all of the power..

I actually set the carbs up and once I have the needle clip in the middle position, the carbs are sincronized on a Mercury stick, then once that is done the air screws are wound all the way in, and then one and quarter turns out.
Yes, I do increase the main jet by 2 sizes.

Where do you get your tail pieces from? Another great creation. I'm in the midst of building a cafe racer out of a 77 kawasaki kz 1000 and I am trying to find a tail piece like the one that you have on the yellow peril and the koppa (both great bike by the by...) I have been looking at your website (a lot).... good work as usual.

Thats the Rocket Four seat base that I sell on my parts page of my website, a universal fitting seat set up.
