This is the last known song sung by Hemanta Kumar for any Hindi movie - as far as I know.
Unfortunately, if you hear a clear recording, Hemanta's age is clearly evident.
As a fan of Hemanta Kumar, this song is a bit of a disappointment - he should have left us with memories of Tum Pukar Lo, Jaane woh kaise and Jab Jaag utthe armaan.

I just love this song because I used to sing this song for my two daughters when they were 3 to 4 years old and noe thet also love this song. Really beautiful lyrics.

its really a great song and composition by RD Burman, it also shows that how RD used Hemant Kumar's voice with something very new and different composition for Hemant Kumar at that time of his career ....... thats how both, great singer & music director of all time came together !
