On November 15th, Ryan Smyth of the Los Angeles Kings scores a goal against the San Jose Shark goaltender Antero Niittymäki that went unnoticed at first. The play went on and a minute later San Jose forward Torrey Mitchell scored a goal. During the intermission, the first situation was video reviewed and determined that the puck had crossed the goal line. Therefore Mitchell's goal was overruled, Smyth's goal allowed and the clock turned back 71 seconds.

  • i think i remember watching this game and being like wtf? haha

  • Wow

  • Haha, I was at this game with my hockey coach who is a Kings fan. Before Mitchell scored I asked what would happen if Sharks scored on a continued play. I must be phsychic =D

  • its a weird

  • @instntstr9 There wasn't a whistle until Mitchell's goal. Everything gets wiped and the clock is wound back to when Smyth scored.

  • I don't understand this rule.

  • haha, this still makes me laugh. Go Kings!
