  • Absolutely fantastic playing, with precision, speed, power, and a jaunty playfulness. Long live Libetta!

  • @demosj Cortot is better. In timing and especially in the last section, where Lib ettat is a tad less spontaneous and a trifle heavier. Nevertheless, impressive. However, it's one of those pieces that

*sounds* harder than it is technically. But there lies the rub.

  • @XuRuiHai721 You know what? If anyone uses the fingering on the score they will either not achieve this speed or they will injure themselves after a while. I realised the fingering and way of thinking about the double stops of the right hand to get them this fast. The left hand double stops are quite easy once you change the fingering of ascending 6ths. Why doesn't anyone know how to play 3 against 4? Here is a challenge: Make it all metronomic at a performance speed before adding rubato.

  • Double notes... So many double notes! How is that possible??

  • francamente, meglio di Cziffra. O_O

  • @meatwadXcore you can get it on IMSLP. The most difficult part is getting it up to proper speed. Your hands have to move so fast things meld together if you aren't precise. Good luck to anyone else learning this, so much fun once you master ANY of it. Oh yeah major applause to Libetta, this is how Saint-Saens is meant to be played.

  • i really want to see the sheet music for this, i bet it's a trip...

  • Gorgeous touch, elegant, silky smooth, great technique.

  • Unbelievable. Equal to Cziffra and Cortot in this piece?

  • I am amazed that I haven't heard of this young man before. He is so gifted!
