  • It is with great sadness that I inform you that the licensed rehabilitation people that gave me Homeboy to rehab, took him back and decided to euthanize him. It is not a decision that I agree with.

Thank you everyone that prayed; he's flying freely now in Heaven.

    Sadly,

    Debby

  • What??? Why's that? He seemed so happy with you! I can't believe it is true. :(

  • Miss Ogma, the day they took away my Homeboy, a raven came (no lie) and tapped at my front window. I let my hybrid raven out inside the house to greet him. My silly raven said "Hello!" to the wild raven outside. He wouldn't go away, and continued pecking at the window. He was young, and his family was nowhere to be found. I went out and got him, and now he lives with me and his name is Duncan :)

  • how often do your feed your birds, and what do you feed them? Also, what do you feed the young ones and at what age do you change their diet?

Thanks alot & love the videos.

  • I feed all my birds Science Diet puppy small bites. I was feeding them Beneful Puppy Chow, but (I'm serious) Edgar would only eat the "red" ones, and so much food went to waste! So I switched.

The babies eat the same food, only soaked to where it's mushy, and when they're nestlings, they need to be fed every 2-3 hours. When they start to eat on their own, I will let them try the food dry.

Homeboy had a ahort life - but filled with love thank YOU!!!

  • thanks for the reply. it's always good to know just in case I find one in need of help. We have thousand living about 100 yards away in a forest. My family & I seem to have a skill of finding finding injured animals!
